Pity that smaller hardware stores like these are being phased out due to Bunnings stores.

Great service, Jack was not only friendly and helpful but very knowledgeable also. The item I originally went looking for was $2.00 dearer than the big corporate down the hill but the time and fuel saved more than made up for that, also had a quick wonder around the store and picked up a few small items I'd been meaning to get. So I saved even more and enjoyed supporting local business.

Jack helped me out with some wood for a project a month ago. I came away very appreciative of his help, so when I needed some special metal mesh to renovate my patio flyscreens, I thought I'd come back and give him the opportunity to supply.I went to the Mundaring hardware hoping he would price-match (I had checked the prices at B********). But guess what.... Jack could supply even cheaper. He saved me $14 plus a trip to Midland and back. I was surprised and delighted.But even better was the customer service interaction. This was the second time I've visited, and each time I came away appreciating good customer service, delivered with a smile. Great work, Jack!

I was looking for a local Haymes Paint distributor, and found the best customer service and sales experience of my time in the Perth region. Jack was so helpful and spent literally hours with me mixing colours and getting things just right. They have a great selection and were always available when I needed them! Wow!!!! people who are happy to have you in their store. What a blast from the past. Jack probably does have it; if not he will find it and order it in. These people could give lessons in customer service.

Phoned up and asked for a twenty,yes twenty kg bag of cement based tile adhesive. told it was $19.90 , five bucks dearer than in Midland, so for five bucks save me a trip down the hill, went to pick it up and was on 15kg not 20kg, so Mr No people skills said that's all they had, so they stuck it me again :-( .For the last time!!!!!
